Some DPGraph information

The University owns a site licence to a graphing utility called DPGraph.

This tool allows easy graphing of surfaces, curves, and vector fields.

All students, faculty and staff can download a copy for free at: Download DPGraph.

In case you don't have access to a PC, DPGraph has been installed on the PCs in JBE 109.
From the desktop open the following folders: "PC Server on 'be-lab'(F)" -> "Math, Statistics, and Graphing" -> "DPGraph".

To edit the graph or enter a new graph choose "Edit" off of the menu bar.
There are many formating commands, but the function is specified in the "graph3d(...)" command, usually found on the last line.

A great way to learn this software is by looking at examples.
Upon executing the program, choose "open" off of the menu and browse through the hundreds of examples installed with the software.
If you can't find the directory with the galleries, search on your computer for files ending in the extension ".dpg".

There are also some tutorials at DPGraph.
